Rod holder. Made from stainless steel and has an overall length of approximately 30cm. Approximately 10mm diameter hollow handle. The gripping end of the holder is designed like half a clothes peg that pinches the glass rod as it sits in a V shaped trough.
The extremely strong gripping action securely holds glass rods from as small as about 2mm up to about 12 mm. The best grip is attained by inserting the glass rod about 1 inch into the holding area, but rods can be inserted to as much as 1-3 inches. The glass rod then extends straight out of the end of the holder. 
The gripping handle is approximately 10mm.
